Celebrate National Family Day in Canada!

As we were growing up, the Collier family celebrated "Family Day" every Sunday. We would often go out to eat (the all you can eat buffet at Bonanza was a favorite), walk around the mall, or go to a sporting event. It didn't really matter what we did, just as long as we were together and taking intentional time to connect. Our friends in Canada value family so much that they have declared Monday, February 20th National Family Day.

Big Hugs for Family Day!

National Family Day in Canada is celebrated the third Monday in February. While it's not a national statutory holiday, it is observed in New Brunswick, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. For families that are celebrating, they can do a variety of fun activities like fishing, skiing, or visiting a local market. We have only been to Canada a few times but we would also suggest partaking in some delicious poutine.
