Rebecca Serle is a gifted writer who can tap into the world of magical realism masterfully. Only thing to note is a word of caution that once you start reading this book, you will not be able to put it down. A large portion of the book is set in Positano on southern Italy's Amalfi Coast. One Italian Summer beautifully describes the landscape as well as all the decadent pasta, wine, desserts, and pleasures found in Positano.
